Religious Education
The Religious Education (RE) curriculum is based on the SACRE Staffordshire Agreed Syllabus and is organised around the study of major world religions, including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and Sikhism. There is a focus on key concepts such as beliefs, worship and values. The curriculum encourages children to explore religious diversity, promoting understanding and respect for different faiths and provide the opportunity to visit and learn about places of worship.
Throughout the units of work, children will also reflect on the significance of religion in people’s lives, both historically and in the present day, helping them to form their own informed perspectives.
